HAUL: Lush and The Face Shop

Hello everyone!
I haven't made any posts lately and the reason for that is I came to visit my parents and before I did that(!) I went to some of my favourite stores to stock up on things that I may need while I am visiting them since it will be long visit!

First I went to The Face Shop, I bought a lot of face masks! Not just face masks though I also bought hand and feet mask, which I haven't tried yet and can not wait to try! I also bought a BB Cream and essence for my face. While I was in the shop, because I am running out of my Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream I thought I would buy a back-up. While there I asked one of the girls which one I should get, she was very helpful and chose aqua tinted for me. I am glad she did because where I am right now is a very tropical place and it is very hot combined with humidity (now I know why I was so sure about leaving this city). I will be doing a review on this BB Cream and comparison with my other one! Last thing I bought from The Face Shop was the face essence, for a while now I was using La Mer moisturizing gel but I ran out of it and with everything going on I did not want to go and pay all that money for it but I knew I had to get something for my face so I gave The Face Shop a try. The girl in the shop told me that this Eco-Therapy series was their best seller and I chose to try the essence since I do not like to use anything too heavy on my face. The girl that was working in the store was so nice she gave me couple free face masks, UV protection cream and few more stuff. I will be making review posts on these products at the end of the month since I actually want to have better idea for all. Moving on!

I went to the Lush store to buy bath bombs for myself as I am a person who likes to take long hot baths. I ended up buying two bath bombs (Butterball and a green apple one, sorry I can not remember the name), Volcano foot mask (it is not in the photo because it was for my mother), bath bubble bar in Green (that is the name for that). Even though I did not buy much they gave me two sample size Sultana and one sample size Honey, I Washed The Kids. I think I will fall in love with Sultana because it has a great moisturizing feeling to it even when you just touch it.

I feel and know that I have talked too much so I will end this blog post here. Hopefully now that I have more time in my hand I will be making tutorials and review posts! Please expect them (:

REVIEW: Lush Hair Treatment Jasmine and Henna Fluff Eaze

Hello (:
So today's post is going to about a Lush product which I have used for a while now. It is the hair treatment that was made to tame frizzy hair and to moisturize it. This hair mask cost me £11.50 which I don't believe is very expensive as it is a product that does what it says even though not as much as I expected it to be.
Hair Moisturizer
"Frizz be gone! Avoid fluffy, flyaway hair by applying plenty of this henna-rich, organic jojoba, brazil nut and coconut oil pre-wash treatment to dry hair, massaging it into your scalp, leaving for 20 minutes and rinsing out."

It comes in a classic Lush black pot which you can recycle! There is 220g / 7.7 oz. of product in the pot.
I apply this product to all of my hair but mostly on the tips of it. I have very long hair so I can say that this pot has enough product to use it 4 times. You have to use it on your dry hair (so it can not be wet or damp). Leave it in for 20 minutes (I usually leave it on for longer) and then rinse it out and continue with your regular hair routine.

This is how much is left from it after 3 uses.

This product definitely does ease the frizz in the hair but I can not say that I see a nice moisturizing effect from it. I have very dry hair due to the fact that I have bleached it a lot of times and even dyed it pink and several other colours. When I bought this product I thought I would love it as much as I loved their other hair masks but unfortunately I don't. Even though it eased the frizz in my hair, my hair was very hard feeling and not soft at all. I have used a lot of moisturizing hair masks before and they have all left my hair feeling very soft but with this product the tips of my hair felt very bad and it also looked very brittle for some reason. Also, this product has a very strong smell to it which will stay in your hair until third wash. It is not a bad smell and also not a very pleasant smell, so I would not recommend to people that don't like the smell of henna but in a very strong way.
Pros:
it does ease the frizz
smells nice after you wash it out
it is a vegan product

Cons:
it does not leave the hair soft
while it is in the hair smells very strong and bad (in my opinion)

I would only recommend this product to those who have pretty soft but frizzy hair and most importantly to those who does not mind the strong smell of this product. So before you buy it, smell it in the store!

If there are any products that you can recommend for very dry hair leave it as a comment (:
Thank you!
