Etude House Vivid Pop No.8

안녕하세요!
Today’s post is Etude House’s Vivid Pop Stick in #8. I recently got this product but I already love it.

The product comes sealed in plastic wrap so make sure to check that if you purchase one. It has the production date written at the end of the stick. The packaging is a retractable kind. So you can twist the product out basically.

The colour and texture is perfect in the bullet. It feels creamy and applies smoothly.

It is darkest shade that is in this series and it is truly pigmented. On the photo above please check the true colour that I put on the right corner of the photo. This colour is the type that will look different in different kind of lightings. In flash photography it looks a bit dark red-pink.

This is Etude House’s promotional photo for this product. I tried doing the gradation on my lips with this product but I applied too much because I didn’t think that it was that pigmented. So if you are going for gradation look make sure to apply just a little bit and blend out and then apply a bit more.
In the promotional photo the colour looks very matte but when I applied it on my lips it looked more creamy rather than matte. However if you want the matte look apply a little bit of translucent powder or red pigment on top of it and you will achieve the same exact colour you see in the promotional photo. I actually recommend setting with powder for a long lasting colour.
I don’t have any complaints about this product. If I want it darker I can apply more layers if I want it a bit lighter I can apply a little product and be happy. It truly is a vivid and popping colour. However I recommend exfoliating the lips prior to application of this colour because if your lips are dry and chapped this it won’t look as nice but this is definitely not a drying lip product so girls with dry lips can use it too and it won’t feel dry on the lips.

TonyMoly Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream~ 토니모리 에플톡스 스무드 마사지 필링 크림 리뷰

Hello!
So lately I’m trying to write a post more frequently because honestly when I do that I get more followers and likes suddenly ._. but it’s so hard to write about all these products because I get confused and hyper which causes me to write a lot of unnecessary things in my posts!

Well now that my rant is over I would like to actually talk about today’s subject. It is TonyMoly Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream. If you don’t know what it is, basically it is a facial exfoliant without the beads and scrubbing materials inside and all you have to do is massage it into your skin and then wash it off.

This product comes in a extremely cute packaging which is a shape of green apple. Which is why I purchased this product... I can’t help myself when I see cute packaging.

For a long time now, about 3 years, I’ve been using Laura Mercier Face Polish as a exfoliator but then I saw the Cure gel and wanted to purchase that, I didn’t. Instead, I bought this Appletox peeling cream from TonyMoly.

The apple has a seal on it and when you twist the cap off there is another should i call it cap(?) that has TonyMoly printed on it. When you remove that you’ll reach the cream! The production and expiration date is printed on the bottom of the apple so make sure to check that if you ever purchase one.

Just as the name suggests the consistency of it is creamy. It has a very pleasant smell of green apples. I love the smell of green apples but if you don’t like then I don’t recommend this product to you because you can still smell the green apples after washing it off. It doesn’t stay for too long but still if you don’t like that smell don’t get this product.

Well this product doesn’t come in a box or anything of that sort and it doesn’t have any directions on it but you can find them online. Also I wish it came with a small cosmetic spatula that why your pot would stay clean. So when I first used it I was kind of confused because I thought I just need to keep massaging and rubbing my skin. What you have to do is massage the product into your skin for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Then leave it on your face for 30 seconds. In the photo above I put a lot on my hand and couldn’t blend it more that’s why it looks weird. Also with this a little goes a long way! When you start massaging it into your skin the product gets softer so just a little is enough for your entire your face. What you see on my hand is enough for my entire face!

After waiting for 30 seconds you start massaging your face again and you will see little white things forming. Well what you see is your dead skin cells. After that you need to wash your face with lukewarm water and continue with your regular skincare routine.

Now onto what I actually think about this product. I like it. Do I love it? I’m not sure! I still want to try Cute Aqua Gel! I really like this product though. After washing it off it leaves my skin very soft and smooth. A lot softer than my Laura Mercier exfoliator! However it does give me a little a redness but I already expected that because I have very sensitive skin and that happens with all the other exfoliator I have used before but this is a lot more gentle than other exfoliator because it doesn’t have any hard beads or sugary products in it.

All in all, I like this product. I don’t love it yet because my mind is on the best selling Cure Aqua Gel. I recommend this to girls with sensitive skin because it is a lot more gentler than the other exfoliators. It leaves the skin soft and smooth. It is not a miracle product but it does what it says it will! I will definitely update you on whether I love or just like this product after I get my hands on Cure Aqua Gel.

The Face Shop Arsainte Ideal Essence~ 더페이스샵 아르쌩뜨 에코-테라피 아이디얼 에센스 리뷰

Hello! Today’s post is about a essence which you may have seen in my previous hauls! I bought this when my skin was getting very dry and needed a moisture boost.
It is The Face Shop Arsainte Eco-Therapy Ideal Essence. This line is known to be the best seller from this brand especially their essence. This line is for dry skin which needs extreme moisture.

The essence doesn’t have any colour and it is a clear water like formula. It has a very subtle fresh smell to it. It includes bamboo extract for moisture and locking the moisture into the skin.

When you are spreading it out on your skin it feels like water. It has a very soft gel like texture but it is definitely not thick. The essence does have a smell to it but it is not overwhelming and it is a very fresh and clean smell. Now the question is “does it really moisturize skin extremely?”. It does.

This essence makes your skin extremely soft and bouncy and elastic feeling like a baby skin. However even though I have oily skin on my nose it does not get oily at all and it actually feels great. I put it on before my moisturizer and after my toner and it feels great.

I’m sure what I mainly use this essence for is very different than everyone else but I mix it with my Aqua Tinted BB cream!!! It looks amazing and it feels amazing on my face! I believe due to the bamboo extract it contains, it feels refreshing and cooling on the skin.

I recommend this essence for everyone with dry skin who needs a moisture boost. It is really great to use under your moisturizer and definitely under your makeup or even in your makeup like I do. When I’m done with this bottle I’m planning to repurchase it again especially for the upcoming winter season for when my skin gets dry.

Thank you for reading my post! I hope you enjoyed it and will like my post. Also, don’t forget to follow my blog for more reviews and upcoming posts.

[REVIEW] Dolly Wink Eyeliner

Hello everyone today’s post is about a product that everyone has already fallen in love with and made a review about it or it is a product that you have seen most of the youtube beauty gurus used in their makeup tutorial videos.
It is the Dolly Wink Eyeliner.

I have been using the Dolly Wink eyeliner for about 3 years now. Luckily for me it is a product that is sold in Mitsuwa so I can usually go and buy it but the problem is that this eyeliner is sold out most of the time!! So when I see if they have it in stock I always buy back ups.

Well on to the review. In my case I have hooded eyes and even though I have double eyelids because I have hooded eyelids my eyeshadow doesn’t show up well and I can’t really wear thick eyeliner like most of the people do. So my make-up usually just consists of eyeliner and mascara. I’m sure by now you can tell that my eyeliner is something important for me. Before using Dolly Wink eyeliner I was using Black Track gel liner by MAC. Most of the time while applying with brush my eyeliner was either not even on both eyes or it was thicker than what I intended to draw. That’s when I found out about Dolly Wink eyeliner. Even if you are a beginner in using a eyeliner because this is a pen eyeliner it makes it very easy to use because it is just like writing or drawing with a pen.

When this eyeliner first came out it’s packaging was like the one on top. It was very girly with the purple polka dots and very cute font was used to type Dolly Wink. Now it’s packaging is more simple but still very girly. The packaging is safe enough to carry it in your purse. You can just throw it in your purse and don’t have to worry about the cap opening and ruining everything.

As I have said before I need my eyeliner to be thin to look nice. This eyeliner is perfect for that. As you can see in the photo above this pen eyeliner has a extremely thin tip and unlike other pen eyeliners the tip is very sturdy. Mostly with other pen eyeliner the tip would start separating hair by hair. However that doesn’t happen with this eyeliner.

Unlike me if you like your eyeliner to be thick you can still achieve that look with this eyeliner. Also because of the perfect tip that this eyeliner has when you wing out your eyeliner it looks perfect.

As you can see this eyeliner is also waterproof. I held my hand under the sink for about 5-10 seconds and the eyeliner didn’t even smudge or move around. I even rubbed my finger but it wouldn’t budge.

Then I washed it with my facial cleanser which also has make-up removing feature but it only removed this much.

Then I washed it again with my facial cleanser and it was all gone. So this eyeliner is great for it’s staying quality. Honestly the one with the old packaging didn’t have this much of staying power but this one is even hard to remove with facial cleansers. So if you are someone who needs to have their eyeliner to stay on entire day long this should be the choice for you! I never had to do touch ups with this eyeliner. I think that this is especially a great eyeliner to use during summer. Also even though this is a liquid eyeliner it doesn’t have that weird shine which I dislike very much.

All in all this is a great eyeliner that I believe every girl should at least try once. I think it also comes in a brown colour now so if you are not a big fan of black you can try that one too. But this is my most favourite eyeliner and I don’t ever plan on switching to a different eyeliner.

Beautynetkorea (f2plus1) Review + The Face Shop Haul

Today because I’m not feeling lazy I actually wrote few more posts to publish them in the next days! So expect more reviews and maybe a tutorial because 양승부인 keeps asking me to make one. We shall see.

The first thing I would like to talk about is that I found a perfect shopping website for Korean cosmetics which is based in Incheon, South Korea. Most of the korean beauty item selling websites are based in China or other Asian countries. In all honesty when I see that those websites are based in China I always have second thoughts about purchasing them because of the authenticity of the products. Besides most of those websites always sells them double the actual price of the product. While browsing on EBay one day, I found a seller named f2plus1 and this seller had great reviews and most importantly they are actually based in South Korea and are selling korean beauty items. Before I purchased my items I contacted them so many times to ask them so many questions yet they were extremely friendly answering my questions.

Now this seller actually has a website and you don’t have to purchase through EBay. They have so many great Korean brands that I’m sure everyone is already in love with. I also did a comparison with the actual prices of Etude House and the prices they have listed and there is only $1-2 difference with the actual prices but that’s a lot better than other websites and this seller also provides free shipping with your purchases.

So few days ago I received my first package from them. Everything was wrapped nicely in bubble wraps and arranged really well in the box.
Innisfree Rice Mask Sheet, Missha Super Aqua Blackhead Kit, Etude House Strawberry Hair Rollers, Dear Girls Lip Tint&Balm, Tony Moly Green Apple, Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel, Holika Holika Aqua Colour Change Tint, Etude House Hand Mask
Because of my previous hauls I didn’t purchase many things but I bought things that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time now.  양승부인 also purchased some things. But now we both decided that there are more things we want to purchase.

They also sent a good amount of samples and two face masks with my purchase. I’m repeating myself but I want to say again that the seller is a very nice person and they are very helpful and fast at replying and answering your questions. So I really do recommend www.f2plus1.com if you want to purchase Korean beauty products.

Now on to my small haul from The Face Shop. This time I was determined to buy just one thing which was the whitening body lotion but again I bought more stuff thanks to my mom.

This time when I only wanted to buy a whitening body cream/lotion. I’m already pale but I want to get rid of the uneven colour on my body. But I bought more things than I expected to once again.
Bebe Lip Mask, 3D Ampoule Mask, Real Nature Sheet Masks, Arsainte O2 Mask, Whitening Body Moisturizer, Volcanic Clay Aloe Nose Strips, Raspberry Collagen Eye Masks, Hair&Bath Brush
The girl that was working in the store gave me nice samples with my purchase. And two small boxes of the extremely soft cotton pads that they actually sell. But I still have huge box I purchased before so I’m glad I have these as a back up.

That is all for today. I’m planning to make a review about the Missha blackhead kit, The Face Shop O2 Mask and Tony Moly green apple peeling item after I use them for at least 3 times. Please like my post and don’t forget to follow for upcoming posts and reviews.

[REVIEW] Dior Rosy Glow Blush

Hello again! Today’s post is on a perfect pink blush for every season!

I’m a pretty pale skinned person especially during winter I tend to be a lot more paler then I already am. I don’t look as pale as I say I am in my photos because my bedroom has red walls which somehow makes my skin look dark in photos. Well, most of the time I need colour in my cheeks or my lips to look fresh and alive~ I usually choose to wear colour on my cheeks rather than my lips though. If you are a pale person you would know that it’s hard to find a blush that will give you a perfect natural flush. However, I can say that I have found the perfect natural looking everyday blush for myself. It is the Dior Rosy Glow blush.
This is what the colour looks like. It is a very soft pink that is great for everyday use because it looks very natural.

It has very pretty Dior engraving on it which makes me not want to use it.

The special thing about this blush is the colour changes on every individuals skin differently to match them perfectly. Dior explains this as “Rosy Glow adjust to moisture of each skin to make the cheeks blush with delight.” Another very special thing about this blush is, it smells like roses! It is not a overwhelming smell but rather it is a very fresh smell of roses and you can still smell it a bit after putting it on your cheeks however it does disappear after some time.

It is a luxury and high-end product but it looks amazing on my skin and gives me a fresh and healthy look like it says on the package. Even though it is a powder product it still
blends perfectly with the skin and looks natural. Usually with other powder blushes (ie. MAC Blushes) I usually spend a good time to blend my blush to make it look natural and less overwhelming because especially these kind of colours would have a chalky look to them. I always like to keep my make-up very natural and doll like so if you are someone who likes that kind of look too I definitely recommend you to check this blush out. When you go to check it out in the store the colour of the blush will most likely look extremely pale and different than my photos but that is because they are out in the open and not in a compact which makes the blush change colour according to moisture level of the air.

All in all, if you want to buy a blush that matches you perfectly do go and check this one out. It is a great colour for every type of skin colour out there and honestly I believe this would look amazing on especially very dark skinned people! :)

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Smart Capsule CC Cream

Hello everyone!
Today I would like to introduce you to my first CC Cream I have ever purchased.

It is, The Face Shop Smart Capsule CC Cream. This CC cream comes in two types. The first one is a compact type with a cushion and they come with light and darker colours. However the one I own doesn’t have any colour and it is actually white (WHAT?). Well the smart capsule cc cream blends into your own skin colour as you are putting it on because of the small colour beads that are inside the cream.

The packaging has a very cute light pink colour. To get the cream out all you have to do is press on it and the cream will come out from the middle. It is good and hygienic as the product will never get air and oils from your fingers into it. However this type of packaging is not the perfect type carry in your makeup pouch for touch ups during the day. So if you are someone who likes to touch up their makeup I recommend you to check the compact type.
Check the photos below for better understanding of how this CC Cream works :)

As you can see the colour of the cream is pink based white.
When you start to blend the cream into your skin the colour starts changing and and starts looking more orange and pink and then it magically matches to your skin colour!

Here is a photo of my mothers hand to show you the coverage and the colour of the CC cream. The coverage for this cream is light to medium but it is buildable. Even though the photo doesn’t do justice it gives dewy look to skin without making you oily. I think this is a good CC cream if you have normal/oily skin type but if you have dry skin I definitely recommend you to put a nice moisturizer or essence on your face before you apply it on your skin as it would give you a better finish. The consistency of the cream is thicker than the BB creams I own so at first I was slightly not sure if I like it since I like only putting extremely light things on my face. When you put it on it doesn’t feel heavy though so my worries disappeared after that and a little goes a long way!

Colour - As I have mentioned because of the beads the colour matches to your skin as you blend it out but I’m not sure if it would still match if your skin colour is on the dark side(?).

Coverage - It takes care of the slight redness I have on my face but the coverage is not high like a BB cream. So it is light to medium but if you layer it on the coverage gets higher.

Consistency / Smell - Consistency of the cream is thicker than BB creams but it doesn’t feel heavy on face and it also has a slight cream smell to it. You can still smell it when you first put it on your face but it disappears after a while and it is not a very disturbing smell.

[REVIEW] Geo Grang Grang Choco

Hello everyone! Today’s post is about GEO Grang Grang Choco circle lens that I purchased from Eyecandys.com ! Check out the photos below of the packaging (which is very cute) and the lenses itself.

Grang Grang lenses come in two different sizes. This one I own is 14.2mm and the other one is called Big Grang Grang which is 14.5mm.

The lens vials have every info about the lenses. I recommend everyone to especially check the expiration date that is written as I am sure nobody would like to put expired lenses in their eyes.

GEO lenses always come with authenticity stickers on them. Please check the code on their website to make sure it is a genuine product.

This is what the colour and the pattern of the lenses look like. It has a dark brown ring around it and a light brown gradation towards the pupils.

Overall :

Pattern/Desing - The pattern is very natural looking one from normal/close distance. The gradation of dark brown and light brown is done very well done and natural looking.

Colour- My eye colour is naturally very dark brown. If I am not looking at a direct natural light it tends to look almost black but these lenses give my eyes a very natural lighter brown colour around the center. And the dark brown ring enlarges my eye without looking fake.

Enlargement - The diameter that is written on the vial is 14.2mm and I think it slightly looks a little bigger than 14.2mm I prefer this type of enlargement rather than the max pure grey because this is more natural and ulzzang like.

Comfort - The first time I wore them it didn’t feel as comfortable as my max pure grey lenses but the second time it was very comfortable. After a while I even had to ask my friend if lenses were still in my eyes. However, after 4-5 hours I do feel a little dryness and I get redness just a little bit so I recommend using eye drops if you are planning to wear longer than 4 hours.

Thanks for reading my blog. If you wish to read more upcoming beauty related reviews and hauls please follow my blog and let other people know about it too :P

[REVIEW] G&G Max Pure Grey

Hello! Today’s review is about circle lenses which I wore for a while and fell in love with! First of all let me say this, I’m not a everyday contact lens user and before max pure grey I never used any circle lenses.

Most of the people say for first circle lenses you shouldn’t order ones with very big diameter because your eyes may not get used to them. I’m not a very great advice listener so my first circle lens order was max pure grey which has a 14.5 mm diameter with 15mm effect. These lenses has a dark grey ring around them with thin grey lines going towards inside. It has a very natural gradient to it. They also have a duration of 1 year depending on how you use and take care of them.

I ordered this pair from PinkyParadise and they sent it with a very cute animal shaped contact lens case. You can read my review about pinkyparadise here.

When I first wore them I didn’t have any make up on so I thought “Woah! My eyes look extremely huge!”. I didn’t think I would actually be able to wear these. But after I put make up on my eyes the lenses actually looked very nice. Made my eyes look shiny and big and not too unnatural. I have very dark brown eyes almost black so the grey gradient on the lenses gave my eyes a nice shiny gradient colour. The first time I wore them even though I have sensitive eyes and lenses diameter was big they didn’t feel uncomfortable actually after a while I didn’t even feel them in my eyes. They did not move around and made my vision blurry which I was actually scared of happening.

As you can see in the photo it makes my eye look huge! I’m also raising my eyebrows to make my hooded lids to look big :P You can also see a little redness in my eyes. I took the photo after wearing it for about 4 hours. I got the redness after wearing it for 4 hours and for circle lenses they say not to wear it for more than 6 hours so I think it’s fair I got that little redness and let me remind you my eyes were definitely not used to wearing circle lenses at the time. After wearing them for few times, my eyes got used to it and I can wear them for about 6 hours without getting any redness or discomfort in my eyes. So these lenses are very comfortable even for first time circle lens users. They give you the ulzzang effect for sure. I think Hong Young Gi’s lenses look very similar to these ones actually. I wish I could provide better photos but the expiration date has passed on these lenses and I already threw them away so this is all I have for now but if I happen to find better photos in my computer I will definitely update this post with them (: I’m also wearing them in my profile photo!

Overall:

Design/ Pattern: 5/5
Soft pattern with nice gradation and not too pixelated. From a distance it blends in naturally but upclose you can see the pattern.

Colour: 3/5
Dark grey with gradation, when worn on dark brown eyes the colour looks natural from a distance but upclose you can see the thin grey lines which looks very pretty. With flash photography the grey shows up really well but in natural lighting it’s blended with your natural eye colour.

Enlargement: 5/5
The description for these lenses and even the package says they are 14.5mm but they have 15mm effect! Definitely looks bigger than 14.5mm.

Comfort: 4/5
Very comfortable even for a first time circle lens user. Might need eyedrops after 4-5 hours.

My next post will be about Korean and Japanese Make Up Haul but I’m still debating whether I should make a video of it or a blog post or maybe both? Well we’ll see! Thank you for reading my blog!
